Easy Takedown Defense – TRITAC-Jitsu Technique

Matt Bryers from TRITAC-Jitsu shows his students to do defend against a tackle or double-leg attempt… and then get Side Control.

When the opponent attacks your legs for a takedown in the street or ring, you simply use the wrestlers sprawl to apply a figure-4 lock on their shoulder and neck… which allows you to easily move into side control.

This Combat Jiu-Jitsu technique is one of our basic techniques in our White Belt Curriculum.
